Terms of Use

Cooptly is a job recommendation platform operated by ITIA SARL. It connects verified employers, qualified candidates and trusted coopters. By using Cooptly , you agree to these terms of use.

The platform distinguishes three types of users, each with specific rights and responsibilities:

• Candidate: professional who creates a profile and receives notifications of compatible offers
• Employer: verified company that submits job offers after KYC validation
• Coopter: employee who reports upcoming job opportunities

To access Cooptly services, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials.

• Information provided must be accurate and up to date
• Only one account per person or company is allowed
• Cooptly reserves the right to suspend any account in case of abuse
• You can delete your account at any time from the settings

Any employer wishing to publish an offer must go through a mandatory identity verification process (KYC):

• Submission of fraudulent documents results in permanent account suspension
• Cooptly reserves the right to reject any KYC file without detailed justification
• A rejected file can be resubmitted after correcting the indicated elements

Offers published on Cooptly are subject to the following rules:

• Every offer must correspond to a real and verifiable need
• Salary information is confidential and not transmitted to candidates
• A modified offer will automatically go back to pending validation
• Cooptly reserves the right to remove any non-compliant offer

Cooptly is committed to protecting candidates' personal data:

• The CV is never sent directly to an employer
• Only the Cooptly middleman team accesses the CV to write the evaluation report
• The candidate can hide their profile at any time to stop matching

Cooptly acts as a trusted intermediary and cannot be held responsible for recruitment decisions made by employers, information provided by coopters, or the outcome of recruitment processes. Cooptly is committed to keeping the platform available and secure within reasonable limits.

Cooptly may suspend or terminate access to the platform in the following cases:

• Violation of these terms of use
• Submission of fraudulent or misleading information
• Abusive behavior towards other users or the Cooptly team

These terms are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute relating to the use of the Cooptly platform will be submitted to the competent jurisdiction of Yaoundé, Cameroon.
